Life, City, Work…& Beyond

The delay in this write up was not ignorance, but lack of anything exciting to write about. Then I thought let’s write on something that inspired me to write a blog in the first place And ‘Life, City, Work and Beyond’ is the real reason which turned me into a blogger. It’s the title of my great friend and mentor’s blog, her name is Arshi Aggarwal (arshiaggarwal.blogspot.com). She is the solution of my every problem and also the Editor of ‘The Coffee Table’.

Life: ‘Live Life to its Fullest’ is what everyone says but only few are able to live up to the words. There are many ups and downs in every one’s life but how you take them is what life is really all about. The only thing I have learned from my life is to always keep learning. The day you stopped learning, the day the life turns boring and meaningless. This blog is another way to learn about life and others’ opinion.

City: Delhi is where I live and can live for rest of my life. I am proud to be a small part of this big city. Delhi is rightly said ‘Dillli Dilwaon Ki’, a true Delhite always live whole heartedly. Delhi is place which you can never get bored of. It has so much to explore, from amazing heritages sites like Humayun Tomb, beautiful baolis to rocking shopping places like Connaught Place, Chandni Chowk and lots of malls. This city has something to offer to everyone on this earth.

Work: It’s said that ‘Work is Worship’, but I believe work is everything - it defines who you are.   Work is not just your job or studies, its lot more than that, it’s your behavior, your inspiration, your attitude and your each and every move! People work to earn money, I work to satisfy myself and I just love it.

Beyond: The beyond is tough to talk about. It’s a vague term with many meanings. I would start by saying that your life, city and work are all that matters, rest all is beyond our control.  In the other words, I would express it as  - work hard, live life and never think what will you make of it, cause future is beyond your control.  I would end it by some amazing words by Richard Branson in one of the magazine ‘Brave may not live forever, but the cautious never lives’.

Night: A Time To Live

Many people love to hang out when the whole city is planning to sleep. The “Night Out” is what every youngsters love to do (Even I love them).  Sometimes I wonder what makes these overnight excursions so much fun, I mean you can hang out with same people in day time also. So, why to wait for the night to come?
I have been living in Delhi since last 20 years & now I feel as if this whole city is like my home.  Delhi is the place where night life is said to be almost negligible (as compared to Mumbai).  Delhi is a city which is considered unsafe to hang out at the night. It’s the place where the access of resources is not possible after dark and over and above - the strict Delhi Police laws. I feel that all these problems make it more fun & adventurous!
What excites me most about the night out’s is that you don’t have any tension, no one to stop you, mock you or point at you while you indulge in most stupid funny and dostishap acts and all this coupled up with a thrill of it being the night time. It’s the only time, when with friends, you may not even have 50 bugs in your pocket but you still have lots of fun and it feels like you all are the king’s of the roads :P.
I have had many night out’s. Some were good, some were bad, some ended with fight’s, some ended with hugs and kisses, but all of them had one thing in common that they all were memorable. I have some of the great memories. Going to India Gate at 2am in night, it looks so good and gives that RDB (Rang De Basanti) feeling. Going to Gurgaon just to have some beers, dancing on road and BPO’s parking with bunch of strangers, having Hookah’s at Murthal, sitting on the window of the car when is at speed of 100km/hr. The car get punctured in the middle of the night and lending you mobile to punturevala, cause you don’t have even a single penny in your pocket, having amazing parantha’s at Connaught Place, handling a drunk friend cribbing about his ex-girl friend. . . there are so many never unforgettable  memories like this.
All this fun and frolic was not possible without my great friends, I will not mention their names as they must have already found themselves in the above wordsJ. I would just say that I love you guys and you all have made my nights memorable.
That’s what all I had, you all must be having some great night out experiences to share. Please share you experiences with me and my ‘Coffee Table’ I would like to thank to all the reader’s for their great support, hope you keep reading and keep posting your comments.

The Second Inning!!!

The world around me is heading rapidly towards future but I choose to stand here and reflect upon my past and observe the world around me. I have never been a good writer, but I am learning. Some people also call me good observer. I started writing a blog long time back, but couldn’t make it beyond two write ups. Perhaps, because of my laziness and the fear of judgment. But that’s a thing of past now. From now onwards, I am determined to bring the change – in me and society, of course J. So, here’s to my “Second Inning”.

This blog would be a platform to share thoughts, opinions, believe, inspirations and everything we observe around us. I am looking forward to maximum participation from readers and to be the indispensible member of my “Coffee Table”. I want you to share your honest and valuable opinions with me. So, I cordially invite you to comment, compliment, criticize or appreciate my not so good write ups.

It will be an honor for me if you guys would dig out some time from your busy schedule for reading my blog. Please pray to god that my “Second Inning” never ends and I keep posting updates for you guys to keep reading and respond.

I would now take a leave and will come back soon with something I really believe in. Thanks for tolerating me and staying with me till now, hope you will there each time I write. Till then good bye & take care.

Regards,

Kinshuk
